Gestalta 001a by RedPandaDee
Gestalta 001a
A sketch done based on the impression from the previous week, when attending Gestalta's first shibari rope bondage workshop.
After doing a few heavily saturated pieces recently, I was yearning to revisit the lightness of watercolour scheme. And there's no better subject than Gestalta. With her elegant dancer like stance and that genuine impression of remote attachment to the physical world, she makes the perfect figure.
Like a temporary container made of ice, designed to hold the dissolving ink and water, but in time, will inevitably blend, fade, then vanish into the thin air.
The style is much closer to my heart, for its resemblance of the oriental minimalism representation.

The Chinese character '演' is pronounced 'Yan' with 3rd tone. Meaning to perform, to express, and etc.

This was planned as a trinity piece, containing 2 other sections with different poses, which I'll see if I can finish.

Hi, I'm transitioning MTF, and I take a great deal of comfort from your images - the passion and beauty, the tenderness and the brutal torments - thank you for your art. It is beautiful. x

Thank you very much for sharing that with me, I hope it's all going smoothly. Even if it may get tough at times, please remember that you are doing something very brave and it takes great courage to find and embrace oneself. I'm glad my work bring some comfort and pleasure to you, and it's great to know you are becoming a beauty just like those many I take great joy in portraying.

Best of luck, please keep me updated.

I have just discovered your gallery, and absolutely adore it, especially your transgender works. I invite you to visit my gallery as well, specifically the Transgender folder. Your work is simply breathtaking.

You're greatly welcome... Your illustration keep a realistic touch so it make an amazing combo, please never stop to amaze us... But be careful with NSFW, people who come because of that wont be able to enjoy your soft illustration and in other way people who come because your SFW art may be a little surrpised with your gallery... XD

And just a question, there is a chance you accept requests or commissions? I really want to ask you if you may be interested to take part of my Rosalina x girl project while pairing Rosalina from Mario galaxy with any other girl you want (you can understand more about Rosalina in my profile or blogs: or for soft).
My dream is to have a lot of different styles/artists and a picture by you must be sooo nice...

Have a nice day and continue upload great stuff... ^^

Thanks for the suggestion. I use to separate my work onto two accounts, divided by their context, but in the end I felt it was too much effort and pointless to hide one from the other, they are after all, all coming from the same brain.
Survey result in many developed countries shows that people have greater fear for offending others than fear for death, I don't go out of my way to offend others, but if some choose to be offended, there's not much I can do other than continue to be myself.
Come to think of it, it's actually a very efficient way to filter real friends. Those who don't judge, who will offer understanding and love will stay. The others can all go away.
I'll have a go at the Rosalina project when time allows, maybe after moving home later this month.
